Dr. Ari Giligson has been practicing general/comprehensive ophthalmology since 2000. He completed his BSc, MD and Residency training at UBC.
He had a solo practice in Delta BC for 25 years before retiring from cataract surgery to pursue Medical Ophthalmology in Vancouver.
He has held staff appointments at VGH, Delta Hospital and Ft. St. John Regional Hospital.
He has served as coordinator of Medical Student ophthalmology education as well as Residency Program Director for the UBC Department of Ophthalmology where he currently holds the position of Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology.

Dr. N. Kevin Wade practices as a general ophthalmologist in Vancouver. He has completed fellowship training in Neuro-ophthalmology, Ocular Immunology, and Cornea and Ocular Inflammation at the Francis Proctor Foundation at the University of California – San Francisco. He has worked as a general practitioner (GP) in the past and completed internal medicine training before entering ophthalmology in 1993. His undergraduate training was at Dalhousie University and his medical studies were done at McGill University.
Dr. Wade is proud of being selected as Teacher of the Year by his colleagues and residents in 2003. In 2012, Dr. Wade was recognized with the Departmental Clinical Research Award for work on cataract surgery outcomes and received the Departmental Medical Student Teaching Award in 2017.
Dr. Wade's hobbies are woodworking, fly-fishing, gardening, and acoustic guitar.
